The service and the parties

Snäppisensuroimaton is a Finnish-language discussion service. By using it you enter into an agreement with the site’s operator. Finnish law applies, and as a consumer you may always take a dispute to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board or bring an action in the district court of your place of residence. Your account

An account is personal. You are responsible for activity on it and for what you post. A pseudonym does not transfer that responsibility: anonymity towards other users is not anonymity before the law.

Content and moderation

What may be posted is defined in the content policy. Content is removed on the basis of the law and that policy, and moderation decisions can be appealed as described there.

Money does not affect moderation, in either direction. Paying does not buy visibility, does not raise posts in any listing, and does not protect you from moderation. Nor does paying make your position worse. Moderation decisions are made without knowing whether an account pays.

Paid features

Nothing is currently sold on this site. When paid features open, their terms, prices and right of withdrawal will be described on this page before the first charge.

Availability and changes

The service is under continuous development and uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. These terms may change; material changes are announced in the service before they take effect, and changes affecting paid features do not apply to a period already paid for.

Ending an account

You may close your account at any time. An account may be permanently terminated for repeated or serious breaches of the content policy. Permanent termination ends any subscription and freezes the kolikot balance: the balance stays on record but cannot be spent. Freezing is not a monetary penalty.
